English sentences are below. 菅野泰紀（すがのひろゆき）は慰霊・顕彰のため艦内神社の分霊元などへ自身の鉛筆艦船画を奉納・寄贈することを続けている。これまでの奉納作品を一堂に集めた展示が、靖國神社遊就館にて特別企画展として今夏3ヶ月にわたり開催された。この企画展を記念し、この画集を製作した。 　帝国海軍艦艇には、艦と乗組員達の航海の安全と武運長久のため、「艦内神社」が祀られていた。しかし戦後、艦と共に沈んだ艦内神社の存在は、ほとんど顧みられてこなかった。著者は、せめて「水底に鎮座する艦内神社と分霊元の絆を後世に伝えていく一助となれば」と、その艦の絵を分霊元に奉納する活動を地道に続け、奉納先は10社、その作品数は12を数える。 　作品はすべて鉛筆画であるが、その迫力や臨場感には目を見張るものがある。色彩がないからこそ、鑑賞者がそれぞれの感覚で自由に絵の情景をイメージすることができるからかもしれない。制作において、作者は、細部まで緻密に描き込み、単なる絵を越えて、波のうねり、吹き抜ける風の音や潮の香り、そして艦に乗る将兵達の息遣いすら感じられるような作品を目指しているとのことだ。 　この画集の収録作品は、奉納作品の他、著者の代表作品を収録し、線画も合わせると約60点。特殊製本を採用し、見開きでも作品を違和感なく鑑賞できることにこだわる。また、巻末には制作や奉納活動の意義、艦内神社の概説などを全編日本語・英語併記で収録した、大変濃い内容となっている。 24㎝×25㎝　140頁 価格4200（本体+税+送料） 販売開始は平成29年10月28日から 売上は奉納活動の原資となります 【A collection of artworks commemorating the dedication exhibition at Yasukuni Shrine Yushu-kan, finally completed】 A big exhibition such as one held at Yasukuni Shrine Yushu-kan cannot be opened quite often. Also, unlike the exhibition, the art collection has the advantage that you can see the picture over and over again at hand. That's why, in this art collection, I also stick to the paper quality and binding that you can tell firmly the detail of the picture.
